“Deal Maker Awards” Announced by the Realtors® Commercial Alliance
Members of the Realtors® Commercial Alliance (RCA), which is a division of the Realtors® of the Palm Beaches and Greater Fort Lauderdale (RAPB + GFLR), were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the commercial real estate industry. The awards were based on complexity, environmental concerns, financing, proficiency in overcoming obstacles and the overall impact the business deal had on the community.
The winners include, Carola Lueder with Re/Max Experience in Fort Lauderdale was named 2018 Realtor® of the Year. Lueder is also the Vice President of Broward for RCA. Environmental Property Audits was named the 2018 Affiliate of the Year. Zach Rossetti with Anderson & Carr in West Palm Beach was awarded the 2018 Rookie of the Year.
In addition, six local agents were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments including: Erik Johnson of Anderson & Carr was presented with the Industrial Deal of the Year award for the sale of a warehouse on Pinewood Dr. in West Palm Beach. Johnson is the 2019 President-Elect of RCA. Alan Steinberg, RX of Keyes Commercial was awarded the Business Brokerage Deal of the Year for the sale of Offerdahl’s Fresh Off the Grill in Fort Lauderdale. Steinberg serves as Vice President of Palm Beach for RCA. Robert Hamman of SVN Florida in Jupiter was presented with the Land Deal of the Year for the sale of an assemblage of 6 parcels in West Palm Beach. Fred Barboni of Coastal Realty Advisors was awarded the Special Purpose Deal of the Year for the sale of the Brookside Marina in Naples, FL. Blair Lee of Lighthouse Realty Services received the Office Deal of the Year for sale of the Creekside Condo Office Building in Jupiter. Lee is the President of RCA. Kenneth Moskowitz of The Keyes Company was awarded the Retail Deal of the Year for the sale of the Siam Nippon Thai Restaurant business and lease in the Shops at Boca Raton.
